It’s the third year of the seed library! The 2024 One Seed, One State selection is Mammoth Long Island Dill. Stop by the Seed Library (located inside the Dansville Library) to select flower, herb and vegetable seeds for your garden, along with planting instructions and a chance to enter into a raffle for a gardening gift pail.

Do you need assistance in obtaining basic needs? In partnership with Advent House, a member of their Street Outreach team will be available to connect patrons with assistance in obtaining identification, food, shelter, mental health, rehab, and similar services. Drop in during designated hours to receive assistance. This program is funded in part by an HRCS grant from the City of Lansing.

Join us for a special garden-themed storytime starring our very own Webberville Garden Club!

Learn about the fascinating history of Williamston with local author and president of the Williamston Depot Museum, Mitch Lutzke. Mr. Lutzke will be available to sign books after the presentation. 

Join us at the library for a plant swap! Bring houseplants, cuttings of houseplants, seeds of any kind, vegetable starters or gardening supplies to swap with other plant lovers. Please arrive between 2-2:30 to set up for your swaps and the swaps will begin at 2:30.  Afterwards, stay and chat with your fellow plant lovers. Refreshments will be provided. 

Participate in a different activity each month to learn about logic, strategy, math, engineering and art. We will feature hands-on activities that highlight construction, games, problem-solving, analytic thinking and artistic creativity.

Join Richmond Poet Laureate and champion slam poet Roscoe Burnems, Poetry Room Host Masaki Takahashi and other poets from the community for a poetry workshop and performance. The workshop will take start at 3 p.m. and the performance will begin at 4:15 p.m.
