In this 4-part series, U of I architecture and design faculty will discuss everyday acts of architecture and explain architecture's relevance to the daily lives of CU dwellers. In the opening program, Jeff Poss will talk about "Monuments and Meditation Huts: Humanizing Architecture for Central Illinois." Poss will share insight into his projects, including the Olympic tribute in Champaign, the World War II Illinois Veterans Memorial in Springfield, and several small meditation spaces around CU.
