"Happiness: What It's All About" is the topic for this month's program, presented by Mary Ellen O'Shaughnessey, executive assistant dean in the College of Fine and Applied Arts at U of I. A person's state of happiness is believed to be determined by three factors: genetics, life circumstances, and intentional activity. Come find out what "intentional activities" have been proven to boost happiness. Sonja Lyubomirsky's book The How of Happiness will guide the discussion. Come for refreshments at 9:30 am, provided by the Library Friends; the talk starts at 10 am.
