Event Type: School-age KidsDate: 9/25/2010 Start Time: 10:00 AM End Time: 5:00 PM Description: Step inside the inflatable dome and be surrounded by a state-of-the-art, high-definition digital presentation, an exciting way to learn about science. (Think of it as a sort of mini-IMAX experience!) From 10 am to 5 pm, 4 shows will be presented in rotation (schedule below). Two of the films, The Search for Life and Passport to the Universe, feature complex sequences that were calculated and created here at the U of I, relying on powerful computers at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications and the expertise of its Advanced Visualization Lab.
