• 11 am | "From Inspiration to Execution: A Mindful Look at the Writer’s Process" | Award-winning author and instructor Amy Hassinger
• 12 pm | "What Makes a Major Character So… Major" | Author and Writers' Café host Frank Chadwick
• 1 pm | "You’re Nowhere Without Location" | The library’s own mystery author Molly MacRae
• 2 pm | "Writing from the Middle of Nowhere" | New York Times bestselling author Michael Perry (Truck: A Love Story and Population 485), from Wisconsin. Perry states, "Those of us who live far from the Coasts often feel as if we are writing from the middle of nowhere in every sense." In a humorous, down-to-earth presentation, he will discuss how "the middle of nowhere" can be the best place of all for writers and other artists.
