Second Sunday and the Nature of Words literary festival present a reading by poet Paisley Rekdal and a performance by singer-songwriter Kevin Gordon. Rekdal is the author of a book of essays, "The Night My Mother Met Bruce Lee," and four books of poetry. Gordon's latest release, "Gloryland," has garnered the highest critical success of his career from a wide variety of sources including Rolling Stone magazine and The New York Times. This event is free and open to the public, and an open mic will follow the reading.
