 Author Monica Drake will read from her work and answer questions at this Second Sunday event. A signing will follow.

Monica's new novel, "The Stud Book," is about the mating habits of animals, human and otherwise. She's the author of the indie hit novel, "Clown Girl," winner of an Eric Hoffer Award and an "IPPY" (Independent Publishers Award). Her essays and short stories have appeared in journals including "The Northwest Review," "Oregon Humanities," "Paris Review Daily," and others. She has been a regular contributor to "The Oregonian," "The Portland Mercury," and the "Stranger" (Seattle). She has an MFA from the University of Arizona and is currently Department Chair of the BFA in Writing at the Pacific Northwest College of Art. Read her blog at monicadrake.com/blog.
