A FREE workshop for adults who are providing after school and summer programs. Adult participants will explore SciGirls educational materials that provide gender-equitable teaching strategies and hands-on inquiries based on the concepts modeled in SciGirls’ videos. Participants in the training will do activities in groups from the curriculum in order to explore lessons as well as approaches, strategies, and tools to promote STEM identity for their students. Participants will receive 6 hours of Set 2 professional development credit from the Oregon Registry.
