Oregon's Fort Rock Cave is the site of some of the earliest evidence of human habitation in the United States. Archaeologists have found numerous well-preserved sagebrush sandals, ranging from 9,000 to 13,000 years old, at the site, and archaeological discoveries continue. Anthropologist Michel Waller will discuss finds at the Cave, the continuing discoveries there, and its rich cultural heritage.
