These roles apply to all forms of writing: Fiction, Nonfiction, Technical, Business, & Poetry.
Library: Downtown Bend Public LibraryParticipants are encouraged to register for all three workshops for a comprehensive experience. Day One: The Madman The Madman is our creative side, and can be inhibited by the other three (i.e. "This is horrible. I should quit. What was I thinking?"). In this workshop, we'll discuss the importance of the role of freewriting in our work, and how to keep our editorial mind at bay while we do it. We’ll be working with writing prompts, so bring something to write with and something to write on. Mike Cooper is a graduate of the OSU-Cascades MFA Writing Program and has led several writing workshops for Deschutes Public Library, Caldera Arts, OSU Cascades, and The Workhouse in Bend.
