You love taking journeys through nature. Now you want to share the experience with others through the written word. How do you write compelling and well-described narratives about the trails, roads and places you’ve explored? Travel writer and editor Kim Cooper Findling will set you up for success in this hands-on workshop on writing about travel and nature.

Kim Cooper Findling is an award-winning writer and editor of travel, lifestyle, essay, memoir and journalism. She is the author of "Day Trips From Portland: Getaway Ideas for the Local Traveler," "Chance of Sun: An Oregon Memoir," and the recently published "Bend, Oregon Daycations: Day Trips for Curious Families." She is a writer/ambassador for Travel Oregon, a longtime freelance journalist for dozens of national publications, and a teacher of writing workshops for children and adults. Kim grew up on the Oregon Coast, spent some time in the Willamette Valley, and has been in Bend, Oregon, for 20 years.
