Library: East Bend Public LibraryWe will use open ended questions, quotes, and poetry to write, speak, and deeply listen to each other to encourage empathy and understanding across our cultural divides. The format is based on the work of Parker Palmer, Krista Tippett and Marshall Rosenberg. It will provide the safety and structure to open us up to fresh perspectives, and possibilities about being a citizen, community member, and human. You will leave the series with a fresh outlook on: All of us “being in this together." The value of our “otherness." How to hold “differences” in life-giving ways. Listening and speaking practices that are inclusive and cultivate empathy. Carol Delmonico is a passionate crusader, deep listener, crazy good laughter and nature lover. She is also a life-long learner. Nursing, Life and Health Coaching, Mindfulness, Laughter Yoga and Nonviolent Communication are some of her certifications. Carol’s passion is supporting individuals and communities to explore fresh perspectives and paradigms to create a world where well-being is something everyone can experience.
