 Quinn Aldrus, U.S.C.I.S. discusses immigration issues, past and present including family and work based immigration, temporary visitor visas for work or tourism, and other related topics.
Andrus, a Community Relations Officer with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, will be giving a presentation most accurately titled, Immigration 101. She will be presenting on past and current issues, and her overview will include information about family and work based immigration, temporary visitor visas for work or tourism, and other related topics. She welcomes your questions and looks forward to having a wide ranging conversation about immigration policy, process, and law - both current and historic.
Andrus has served in that role in Portland, Oregon, since November 2015. She was previously an Adjudications Officer in Albuquerque, NM and an Asylum Officer in Houston, TX. While with USCIS she has had extensive training to adjudicate Syrian and Iraqi refugee cases on temporary assignments overseas. Prior to USCIS, Quinn was a Foreign Service Officer at the U.S. Department of State. She represented American interests abroad in Romania, Iraq, Qatar, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
