OSU Master Gardener Jeff Orr will discuss container gardening topics ranging from selecting the right container to proper watering techniques and how to keep your plants and veggies healthy and thriving. He will go over design considerations and specific plants that do well in our Central Oregon climate.
Jeff Orr is a Certified Master Gardener volunteer. He is also the assistant coordinator for Bend's Hollinshead Community Garden, can be heard on KPOV's Gardening: Get Good At It, and has gardened in Central Oregon for over 10 years. He has experimented with gardening in Bend and Prineville by constructing and successfully growing vegetables and flowers in greenhouses, raised beds, and containers.
