Downtown Bend: Community Conversations - Politics, Race, and Income

Community Conversations Event Type: Adult Program
Age Group(s): Adult
Date: 8/14/2019
Start Time: 5:30 PM
End Time: 7:30 PM
Description:
We're learning how to bridge the divide between perspectives in interesting and engaging ways. Supper provided.

Central Oregon is a diverse community of liberals, conservatives, ethnic groups, and wealth levels, yet we tend to stay locked into our own "bubbles" or "tribes." Our next Community Conversation will provide a forum for learning how to bridge the divide between these perspectives in an interesting and engaging way. You’ll leave the Conversation with eyes, ears, minds and hearts more wide open to other points of view and an understanding that we have more in common than not.
