Library: Downtown Bend Public LibraryWe all want to be healthier and happier. Continuously, studies conclude that writing things down (by hand) helps reduce our levels of stress. Whether it is within a planner or journal, whether it is a list or a tally next to a goal, the process of putting pen to paper helps bring calmness in an overwhelming world. Bullet/dot journaling combines all of the pieces of paper that can come from your mind. Attend & learn the practice of planning, taking note, and recording your daily, weekly, and monthly events in an efficient and effective way. Meredith Casper moved to central Oregon from North Carolina just last year. She has studied education, counseling, art, design, nonprofit administration, and mindfulness-based stress reduction. She previously worked at Duke University, Appalachian State University, and is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer. She is currently a project manager for Artemis Independent, a company that promotes public media across the country. Meredith enjoys dancing in the kitchen, eating soft pretzels, and hosts a Groundhog Day celebration every year. She is a hoarder of fabric and paper, and on the rare occasion gets the opportunity to make a mess and create with both. *cr* *asl* Location: Brooks Room Contact: Liz Goodrich Contact Number: 541-312-1032 Presenter: Meredith Casper Status: Waiting List |
