Group singing is one of the most ancient technologies of belonging. Community songleader Ian Carrick loves to help people remember that singing is our birthright by teaching accessible, beautiful aural tradition songs.

Ian's mission is to reinvigorate our culture with community singing. Somehow we've mostly forgotten that singing is our birthright. After a decade of searching for accessible forms of community-based music and recovering his own voice, Ian founded Open Hub Singing in 2016 after discovering a widespread North American cultural revival of aural tradition singing.
