A workshop on the therapeutic nature of creativity and self-expression.

No matter your upbringing, education, or life experience, everyone goes through hard times. There is not a person on this earth who has not been affected by cancer or war. Both of those terribly tough subjects are tackled with a sincere smile in Ryan Buynak's workshops, which have been described as out-of-the-box and groundbreaking in terms of pushing people out of their comfort zones and daring everyone to laugh at the pain. If you are in need of a new type of therapeutic creativity, look no further. This workshop will dive into the things that scare us all, but it will always end with a loud laugh.

Ryan Buynak is a poet, a storyteller, a comedian, a teacher, and a wearer of overalls, but more importantly he is an advocate for how these things can be therapy for the restless human soul. He has published 10 books, but his true passion is guiding others to use writing and laughter as a means to find solace and fix frowns. His sister is a cancer survivor, and he has witnessed his friends come back from war as changed skeletons. By writing and sharing knowledge, Ryan finds his greatest burdens lifted by helping others, especially in the safe setting of a simple creative workshop. If you spend two minutes with him, he will give you a high-five, probably use bad words, but always remind you to never give up.
