Know Future Event Type: Adult Program
Age Group(s): Adult
Date: 3/16/2020
Start Time: 7:00 PM
End Time: 8:00 PM
Description:
Learn what we can do to make an impact in reducing waste in our community.

As more and more people move to Deschutes County, more and more trash is being created for drop off at our nearly full Knott Landfill. Recycling, while an important part of the process, is not the solution to addressing the massive volume of waste in our community. Come learn about what to do to help make an impact to reduce waste in our community. We will address the current state of recycling and how to do it right, but talk more in-depth about other forms of waste diversion and prevention. What can you do to help rather than hinder?
