Date: 7/27/2020
Start Time: 10:00 AM

Description:
This program will be available beginning July 27 at https://bit.ly/2UXwLkF.

Take a deep dive into nature by drawing the missing half of a leaf!

Challenge your kids to draw the missing half of a leaf! To do this, your child will need to look very carefully at the leaf, noticing its color, shape and texture. Help your child understand bilateral symetry and practice fine motor skills with this fun project. Take a walk and look for a variety of interesting leaves. Take them home and flatten them overnight by pressing between two flat heavy objects. Then we will cut them in half, glue to a piece of paper and using observational skills, draw the missing half!

To participate in this project you will need:
one or more leaves (flatten overnight, if possible)
scissors
paper
glue
drawing and coloring supplies of your choice
