Event Type: Children's Program Age Group(s): All Ages Date: 8/10/2020 Start Time: 10:00 AM Description: Create a vase to hold a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
Library: All BranchesUsing just four simple supplies you will create a vase to house some beautiful flowers. Draw a vase or pot on the cardboard with the black marker, then poke holes above that flowers can slide into. Now it's time to take a walk! What flowers are growing in your grass? Pick a few! Are there any flowers in your garden you're allowed to pick? Take one or two! Is there any greenery that might fill out your bouquet? Pick that too! Whatever you do, and wherever you go to collect flowers and greenery for your bouquet make sure it's okay to pick and make sure to leave some behind for others to enjoy. To participate in this project you will need: - Cardboard (6"x8" minimum) - Black marker or pen - Pencil or nail (to poke holes) - Flowers or other garden flora To view this program, click the link below or type this link into your browser (https://bit.ly/2Y5hXlY).
