Library: Downtown Bend Public LibraryThis is a live, interactive workshop with materials provided and delivered to your local library of choice. Registration for this event closes Saturday, October 3rd. Limit one kit per person. Registration required for supply kit and Zoom link. Learn how to create a flower crown from dried flowers. We’ll talk about the meaning behind flowers and the journey of the flower crown while we craft our own. By the end you’ll be ready to sport your crown on your next Zoom call, social distancing party or even a future festival (the flowers are dried after all). Sami Kerzel is a Community Librarian with Deschutes Public Library serving all ages through story times, book clubs and more. When she isn’t reading a new book, usually historical fiction, she is probably enjoying an adventure, big and small. She especially loves any outdoor adventure which includes wildflowers.
