From wild fires to COVID-19, to election results and the struggle for racial equality, let’s connect with one another to discuss what is causing stress and how we can better care for ourselves and our community.

This community conversation will begin with reviewing the human body’s response to stressors. Then we will move on to sharing and exploring three tools (heart coherence, the five senses, and communal connections). Each of these practices has the capacity to enhance and build resilience. Carol Delmonico leads off the conversation with data and details about the impact of stress on our bodies and how we can learn to build resiliency as individuals and as a community.

We offer Community Conversation events for community members of all backgrounds to share stories and discuss issues that matter. There's an open feeling of trust and a bubbling up of ideas that break down the silos that are dividing communities across the country.

The goal of Community Conversations is to expand our sense of neighborhood - across all economic, political, cultural, and racial boundaries. We believe in the power of connections and friendships to bridge any divides. All of our conversations stem from a strong commitment to curiosity, compassion, and community.
