Noche de cuentos es una iniciativa formada para celebrar la tradición oral de Latinoamérica para conectar nuestras comunidades Latinx. En Deschutes Public Library expandimos esta iniciativa a incluir los abundantes medios que usan artistas Latinx para compartir sus historias y talentos. Este mes disfruten de una presentación narrativa de Rodrigo, aprendan como emprender una relación con los cuentos con Carly, y escuchen a Calypsa, artista de Drag/transformista de nuestra comunidad de Central Oregon, compartir su historia y relación con el arte de Drag. ¡Invitamos a toda la familia a participar!


Noche de Cuentos is an initiative that was formed to celebrate the oral storytelling traditions of Latin America as a means to connect our Latinx communities. At Deschutes Public Library, we expand this initiative to include the abundance of mediums used by Latinx Artists to tell their stories and share their talents. This month you can enjoy a storytelling presentation by Rodrigo, learn how to begin your own relationship with storytelling with Carly, and hear Calypsa, Central Oregon Drag Artists, share their history and relationship to the art of Drag. The whole family is invited!
