Karyn Ann will play all original tunes released or written during the past year of the pandemic that canceled all her, and most musicians', tour plans for 2020. However, with the time off, she was given the mental space to write at least an album's worth, if not more, of new material and explore some new sounds and writing styles. Portland-based singer-songwriter Karyn Ann has been charming audiences with her powerful vocals and emotive lyricism for nearly a decade. A geologist-turned-musician, she is a hidden gem within the indie-soul/folk scene garnering comparisons to Brandi Carlile, Carole King and Bonnie Raitt. She tours nationally having had notable performances at the 2017 Women’s Redrock Music Festival and the legendary Bitter End in NYC. Most recently she was a finalist in the 2020 Grassy Hill Emerging Artist showcase and runner-up in the Red Lodge Songwriters Contest.
