Description:
We want to hear from you! Please fill out this short survey: https://conta.cc/2WjLWoT.

The animal care team at Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory will share experiences from inside wildlife rehabilitation. From a baby bird found out of the nest, to injured squirrels, or a bird colliding with a window, we’ll review some of the common cases we see in Sunriver each year. Because sometimes doing nothing is the best answer, we’ll discuss the questions you can ask yourself to determine if an animal really needs help from a wildlife agency or rehabilitation facility.

There will be an opportunity for audience questions and conversation following the presentation.

The Sunriver Nature Center mission is to inspire present and future generations to cherish and understand our natural world. Programs and activities geared for children, adults, and families, are held throughout the year. Bird walks, lectures, and workshops are offered in the spring, summer and fall and provide ample opportunities for the lifelong learner to enjoy nature and the cosmos. Families can enjoy a Star Dome planetarium show, build and launch rockets, or join a nature hike together. A visit to Sunriver is not complete without a stop at Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory!
