Library: Downtown Bend Public LibraryJoin a Deschutes Public Library learning circle and write your grant proposal. If you've never written a grant proposal or have struggled writing one in the past then this is the class for you. Learn how to become fully familiar with the institution or project for which you are requesting support, prepare background and financial statements, and how to put everything together so you can assemble, write, and submit complete grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and wealthy individuals for any number of projects. Learning circles are free, peer-led study groups for learners who want to take online courses together in a public space. This circle will follow the Writing Effective Grant Proposals class offered through Gale Courses, an online learning platform accessed with your library card. Two lectures are posted each week with suggested assignments. Learning circle participants will meet virtually via Zoom conference once a week to discuss the lectures and share insights and feedback on the assignments. The Learning Circle will meet on Tuesdays, February 9 through March 23. Participants will need a DPL library card to register. *zm* Contact: Liisa Sjoblom Contact Number: 541-617-7093 Presenter: Liisa Sjoblom Status: Closed |
