A virtual open mic and poetry slam to uplift voices and ideas of those that are historically unheard.

Join us at virtually for night of poetry and friendly competition on February 18, at 6:30 pm. All writers and readers and word-lovers invited to attend and read.

Co-hosts Jessica Amascual or Tita Jess and Kaya Crump will be facilitating and hyping you up for the slam!

Schedule looks like this:
*6pm- Sign-ups via the Zoom chat feature as well as welcoming remarks, introductions of hosts and judges, format overview and special artist feature.

*6:15- Open Mic for those wanting to warm up or try something out on the mic before the poetry slam. Each person gets 5 minutes at the mic.

*6:40- Poetry Slam! Each person gets 5 mins at the mic with immediate scoring following their set by a panel of guest judges.

*7:20- Winner and prize announced and closing set by special guest!
