Deschutes River South Canyon Trail is a 3.1 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Bend, Oregon that features a river and is good for all skill levels.

Dan started leading hikes while in college in Vermont and never stopped. He’s hiked and backpacked in New England, the Pacific Northwest, and Europe. After retiring from a career as an Entomologist in 2015, he and his wife moved to Central Oregon to pursue their love of the outdoors. Today he leads hikes for the Sunriver Hiking Club.
