These Fruit Pie Crumble Bars are a mix between a cookie bar and a pie--the perfect transition from summer to fall.

For this video, apple filling was used. You can substitute basically any fruit pie filling to satisfy your sweet-tooth.

Ingredients:

1 Cup All Purpose Flour
1 1/3 Cup Rolled Oats
3/4 Cup Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Salt
2/3 Cup Melted Butter - Cooled
1 Can Fruit Pie Filling

Instructions:

*Melt the butter and let cool.

*Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

*Line a 8x8 square ovenproof pan with parchment paper.

*Mix flour, oats, sugar, cinnamon and salt in a bowl.

*Pour melted and cooled butter over the dry oat mixture and stir till evenly mixed, but still crumbly.

*Pour 2/3 of the mixture into the prepared ovenproof pan, using the bottom of a flat bottom glass, press the mixture flat and even.

*Cover the flattened oat mix with the fruit pie filling, spreading evenly to the edges.

*Crumble the remaining oat mix evenly over the top.

*Bake 35-40 minutes or until the top begins to brown slightly.

*Let cool completely before cutting into bars.

*Enjoy!
