Songleader, Ian Carrick, (white, able-bodied, cis-man) strives to "create as welcoming space for everyone regardless of ethnicity, abilities, gender, race, immigration status, class background, politics, or age and is always willing to admit he has room to grow." After a decade of searching for accessible forms of community-based music and recovering his own voice, Ian founded Open Hub Singing in 2016 as part of discovering a widespread North American cultural revival of aural tradition singing.
