Library: East Bend Public LibrarySpace is limited. Registration is required. Participants will have the opportunity to better understand sushi ingredients and learn how to roll and create sushi using tuna, seaweed, and rice in this hands-on workshop. Instructor Yoko Godlove has lived in Bend for almost 30 years. Her love of travel and the outdoors brought her here; when she was traveling in New Zealand, she met her husband who loves fishing and he caught her instead of fish. When Yoko came to Bend, she worked at the only sushi restaurant in town, where she learned the ins and outs of sushi. She also started teaching sushi workshops in the hopes that people would be able to enjoy sushi more easily at home. Through COCC, Bend Parks and Recreation, and middle & high school culinary classes, she has taught for over 15 years. She is very happy that her country's food is so popular and is very honored to collaborate with the Library on this program. *cr* *Elsa* *ani* Location: Meeting Room Contact: Elsa Hager Contact Number: 541 312 1062 Link: More Novel Idea Info Here Status: We're sorry.
