 Lafayette READS! might be just be the reading group you've been looking for! Join us to talk about the latest and greatest fiction.

The second book for this group is The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead. Winner of the National Book Award in 2016 and selected by Oprah Winfrey for her book group, this novel tells the story of a young female slave, Cora, who embarks on a journey to freedom that is laced with dangers that speak to our country's history of racism both metaphorically and literally.

The first ten people to sign up will receive a free copy of the book.
