ABOUT EARLY LITERACY
Sharing books, songs and rhymes with very young children helps them to be ready to read when they are older.
Establish a routine of reading aloud with your child every day.
Play is important, provide opportunities for imaginative play and join in on the fun!
Read. When children see the important people in their lives reading they will think reading is important too!
Visit www.clel.org for more information about supporting your child's language and literacy development!
