Description
This storytime features fun stories, action rhymes, music, and games. Certain storytimes will include a Night for Knowledge, which is geared at helping children and caregivers familiarize themselves with the new Children's Room! Families are encouraged to attend together, and caregivers attend with ages 2 and under.

Great job readers! More than 2,100 kids kept track of reading time and earned fun and delicious prizes! Please log your reading time and pick up your prizes at the library by July 31st! If you can't make it by then, come anyway. The prize desk will be gone, but children's librarians will still have some options for you to choose from.

Reading Prize Levels for kids age 0 - through 6th grade:

*250 minutes = choose a toy (bug squirter or magnifying glass), and choose a coupon (free Vista ice cream cone or free Varsity Donut)

*500 minutes = choose a free book and choose a coupon (free food from Famous Dave's, Texas Roadhouse, Papa Murphy's or Noodles & Co., or a free pass to the Sunset Zoo)

*1000 minutes = choose another toy (bug squirter or magnifying glass), and choose a coupon (free food from Famous Dave's, Texas Roadhouse, Papa Murphy's or Noodles & Co., or a free pass to the Flint Hills Discovery Center)

This was a good story, but not great for a 5-6 year old who's learning to read as there were not very many pictures and it lost attention easily. I had to continue re-reading parts to her when she didn't know what was happening.
