MAIN LIBRARY SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Lapsit storytime

When: Tuesday, November 24, 2009 - 9:30 AM
Where: Main Library at Childrens Room

Babies ages 18 months and younger are invited to storytime at the Main Library every Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. through December 15th. Enjoy about 20 minutes of books, songs, fingerplays and pre-literacy activities. Reservations are not required, but all babies should bring an adult.

Toddler Storytime

When: Tuesday, November 24, 2009 - 10:00 AM
Where: Main Library at Childrens Room

Children 18 to 36 months of age are invited to join us for weekly toddler time at the Main Library! Books, songs, fingerplays and other pre-literacy activities will be presented for about 20 minutes. Reservations are not required, but all toddlers should bring a chaperone.

Preschool storytime

Where: Main Library at New Hanover Room

Wii are having fun on the first Tuesday of each month!
Come play with Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Hero, Wii Sports, and Wii Play. While you are waiting your turn, cheer on other teens or play cards and enjoy light refreshments.

Elementary Age Gaming

When: Wednesday, December 02, 2009 - 4:00 PM
Where: Main Library at Childrens Room

Elementary ages are invited to gaming at the library! We will have Wii, cards, and other games for you to enjoy. Light refreshments will be served. No reservations are needed.

Westlaw Legal Research for Intermediate Users

When: Thursday, December 10, 2009 - 1:00 PM
Where: Main Library at Masonboro Room

Matt St. John will teach this intermediate class on searching the Westlaw legal research database. Recommended for users who are familiar with basic searching.
