Memorial Medical Center will lead a 4-class Qi Gong in the Community Room at
Peninsula Center Library. Similar to Tai Chi, this exercise is a low-impact,
mind-body practice that integrates healing movements with meditation. This
practice can be done standing or sitting if necessary, depending on one’s
personal fitness.
No registration is
required. First come, first served.

In this 3-part poetry series, Jennie Linthorst will guide participants in responding to inspired readings of poetry on themes of change and transition with their own journal writing. No writing experience is necessary. You are welcome to attend one or all of the series. Please feel free to bring a journal and pen/pencil.

There's no wrong or right way to make it! Your zine can be on any topic you're passionate about. Have fun creating something unique and leave with your own mini self-published booklet.

Writers unite! Join us for a monthly evening program for writing enthusiasts to have time for free writing, peer-feedback, sharing, or tackle writing prompts to keep the creativity active.
Mix music and dance with Zumba outdoors on the Miraleste Deck! Instructor Charrise Lum will lead participants through a 50 minute Zumba class including cardio and Latin-inspired dance. Participants are encouraged to wear sunscreen, dress comfortably, and bring a hand towel, a bottle of water, a great attitude, and a wonderful smile. Participants should wear comfortable sneakers.
