Young readers can have fun and get valuable practice by reading aloud to a patient and gentle therapy dog. Co-sponsored by the library and the spcaLA, these visits by specially trained dogs and their handlers will take place in the Peninsula Center Storytime Room from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Each reading session lasts 15 minutes, so space is limited. Children may be either beginning or advanced readers, but they must be able to read on their own.
