This event is free and open to the public with seating on a first come basis. Following the film, there may be a brief discussion facilitated by the coordinator of the series. Acclaimed director Wes Anderson's latest, GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL, is an enchanting, mad rush of an adventure in the fictional Republic of Zubrowka. A motley group of individuals, including legendary hotel concierge Gustave H and his trusted lobby boy Zero, are swept into the midst of art theft and a furious battle over family fortunes. As usual, Anderson's keen attention to production design and detail make GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL something of a visual wonder to behold. Blessed with a tremendous cast including Ralph Fiennes, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, F. Murray Abraham, Willem Dafoe, Edward Norton and many, many others, GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL is an entertaining farce from one of America's most unique directors. GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL will screen at 3 and 6 PM on September 25 at the Peninsula Center library community room, is rated R for language, sexual content and cartoonish violence and has a running time of 100 minutes. The Peninsula Center Library is located at 701 Silver Spur Road, Rolling Hills Estates.
