The English film THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING shines a light on the story of famed physicist Stephen Hawking and his relationship with wife Jane Wilde Hawking. The film covers Hawking's life from his diagnosis of motor neuron disease to worldwide fame in the scientific community to dealing with the fallout of both of those things that make the marriage more challenging. THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING had five Oscar nominations and one win with Eddie Redmayne winning for his detailed, sensitive portrayal of Hawking. The film's other lead, luminous best actress nominee Felicity Jones, is also terrific as Hawking's sometimes suffering romantic partner. THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING is rated PG-13, has a running time of 123 minutes and will screen at 3 and 6 PM on March 26th in the Peninsula Center library community room.
