Event Details

Come enjoy classical music concerts presented by outstanding young artists as part of Palos Verdes Library District’s Classical Music Series. Introducing the musicians for this performance: French-born violinist Etienne Gara began playing violin at age 5. Praised for his warm tone and expressive playing, he studied at prestigious academies in Europe, making his solo orchestral debut in 2005. Why you shouldn’t miss this concert: Etienne has performed extensively world-wide. His concerts have been broadcast in the US and Europe. He has won many distinguished awards and prizes. In 2014, he recorded on a 1714 Stradivarius for MediaHyperium3. Complementing Etienne’s many musical accolades, he is an engaging, accessible performer who regularly participates in efforts to bring music to people with little access to live performances. This program is free and open to the public. Questions? Please contact Adult Services Librarian Ashley Kagan at akagan@pvld.org or 310-377-9584 ext. 215.
