The Multiplex film series presents LINCOLN

The Multiplex: American cinema at the Peninsula Center Library

Rolling Hills Estates, CA –Join us for PVLD’s The Multiplex, a film series featuring notable, popular and recent American releases from Hollywood. The Multiplex screenings will occur at 3 AND 6 pm on the fourth Thursday of every month. Our next film showing will be LINCOLN, Thursday, May 23 in the Peninsula Center Library Community Room. This event is free and open to the public. Following the film, there may be a brief discussion facilitated by the coordinator of the series.

LINCOLN is a 2012 drama directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Oscar winner Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln as he tries to push the 13th amendment into law in the waning days of the Civil War. Also stars Tommy Lee Jones, Sally Field and a stellar ensemble cast. LINCOLN is rated PG-13 and has a running time of 150 minutes.

Babies in the Library

Parents and caregivers are invited to join us for a program designed especially for 6 to 23 month olds, including interactive play time and a lap-sit session introducing finger plays and nursery rhymes. Older and younger children may also attend. No registration necessary.
