Description:
“Would you like to make your home more comfortable for you and your family year-round and save up to $500 per year on energy costs? There are many programs available to residents that can help reduce monthly energy costs, make homes more comfortable, and even increase overall home values. This workshop will cover a variety of these programs in-depth and help you figure out which programs could work best for you to help you save money and improve your home’s energy efficiency. We will talk about how you can get a free or reduced cost home energy assessment and how you can apply for rebates on home energy efficiency improvements such as air sealing and insulation. You will also learn about the Smart Grid system and how to take advantage of the newly-installed smart meters in your community.”
