 Don’t miss this rare chance to safely view the Sun through filtered telescopes, including an H-alpha scope that offers a close-up view of its dynamic atmosphere! Talk to a solar expert and explore other “hot topics” in solar science. Take home solar glasses (while supplies last) for watching the upcoming solar eclipse. This free multigenerational program is presented by the Charlie Bates Solar Astronomy Project, NM Chapter. Weather permitting. Overflow parking is at Heatherwood Middle School, 1419 Trillium Blvd SE.
