Description:
 The Solar Eclipse will reach maximum visibility at 10:20 am. Arrive anytime between 10 am and 10:30 am to view this once-in-a-century eclipse (weather permitting and glasses provided). Then at 10:30 am the Museum of Flight is hosting their "Suited for Space" program in the library! Work in small groups to design and build “space suits” from household materials to protect a marshmallow astronaut to discover what happens to the human body in space. Participants will test their designs in the vacuum chamber and evaluate their success. Supplies are provided. Registration is required. Registering for this session saves your place for both the eclipse viewing and 10:30am Suited for Space program. Participants under age 10 must have adult supervision.
