An All-Community Read Celebrating The Sketchbook Bicentennial - “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” is one of the most beloved American stories that many remember from childhood. The Sketchbook was published in England and the United States from 1819 through 1820. Everybody’s Reading “The Legend” is a single session “book club.” Attendees will read Irving’s short story in advance, and come together to talk about the story itself and how it relates to life in the Hudson Valley.
