Chessin1Day is a volunteer teen initiative to spread the sport of chess throughout New York and Connecticut. The objective is to offer pre-K to 12th Grade students a fast and solid immersion into the game. Although chess is perceived as a complex game to learn, we have developed a method that makes it fun, and we get students started in chess in just one meet-up. Our classes are taught by rated and champion chess instructors who love to teach. Attendees will be divided into age groups.
