Described as "an emotional, rousing novel inspired by the incredible true story of two giraffes who made headlines and won the hearts of Depression-era America," it is part adventure, part historical saga and part coming-of-age love story.
This Library-sponsored book group is led by Diana Cunningham, Librarian, who selects the books to be discussed, chosen in consultation with Tara Ferretti, Head of Public Services, with feedback and suggestions from the group.
