In celebration of National Preservation Month, join Luigi Badia, Somers resident & sculptor of the newest sculpture of Old Bet, for the screening of the Somers Historical Society documentary Re-creating a Local Landmark – the Old Bet Sculpture of Somers, NY. On display will be community submissions for the display “The Old Bet Statue as I See It.”

Somers Library is joining Somers Historical Society to celebrate National Preservation Month this May by putting a spotlight on the people in our community who are doing the important work saving our places and building our communities through preservation! The 2023 Preservation Month theme is “People Saving Places”.
