Somers Library Movie Matinee series meets in person to view: “Good Will Hunting.” This 1987 American psychological drama film stars Robin Williams, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Stellan Skarsgard and Minnie Driver. Will Hunting, a janitor at M.I.T., has a gift for mathematics, but needs help from a psychologist to find direction in his life. “A touching tale of a wayward young man who struggles to find his identity, living in a world where he can solve any problem, except the one brewing deep within himself, until one day he meets his soul mate who opens his mind and his heart.” This film is on the American Film Institute’s (AFI) list of 100 Greatest American Movies of all time.
